Or is it lilac, or even yellow?
Anyway, every time I change the 'Keep in Dock/Remove from Dock' setting for an item, the entire Dock area briefly turns into a semi-transparent, lilac/purple block. More disturbing is that the removal of an item from the Dock, including by unminimising or quitting, causes the entire screen to flash purple for a split-second.
This doesn't happen when the Dock is on the right or the left, or when Dock Hiding is set to On, or when an item/icon is removed by dragging it off the Dock. Not does it happen at resolutions below 2560x1600. I also don't have the tansparent menu bar until I use one of the lower resolutions.
Weirdly, all this was happening in a shade of dull yellow during one session, but I've not been able to repeat it since.
My install was an upgrade (which I've now tried twice, with the same result). It's an ATI GPU driver issue, I guess.
Is anyone else seeing anything like this?
