I have an old computer running the Windows 7 Professional operating system, and I mainly use it to store some important photos and documents. To prevent unauthorized access to these data, I have used TrueCrypt to encrypt the partitions where these files are stored. After TrueCrypt declared death, I was looking for alternatives to TrueCrypt, and BitLocker is a good choice. Unfortunately, I don't seem to be able to use BitLocker on the Windows 7 Professional, and I can't even find it in the Windows 7 Professional Edition. Can someone tell me how to enable BitLocker on the Windows 7 professional?
